Harmony

Laid out on the plains of Timnath, the 18-hole layout at Harmony Club is a Jim Engh design that first opened for play in 2007 with fairways routed around a residential development to the southeast of Fort Collins.

In The American Private Golf Club Guide, author Daniel Wexler writes: “Harmony mixes a highly modern aesthetic with some classic strategic sense – and also a bit of predictability, as no less than six greens are bunkerless.

And what bunkers do exist, without exception, are either small and perfectly circular, or long, snaking, cape-and-bayed affairs. To his credit, Engh also built notably wide fairways, keeping the driver highly relevant and, in itself, creating numerous strategic options.

Not everyone’s cup of tea style-wise, but there is plenty of interesting golf here.”
